BUDMA — International Construction and Architecture Fair
BUDMA — International Construction and Architecture Fair 2027 is a construction industry event held from January 26–29, 2027, at MTP Poznań Expo in Poznań, Poland. The event is organized by Grupa MTP, which held a reinforced position as a leader in the meetings industry in its part of Europe in 2025. BUDMA is described as one of the most important events in the construction industry in both Poland and Europe. It is an annual four-day fair, and for years, it has served as a venue for discussions on the future of construction, industry challenges, and potential solutions.
The BUDMA fair is known globally and attracts professionals from dozens of countries, including trade representatives, experts, architects, and investors, as well as entrepreneurs from all over the world. It showcases new products, market premieres, and the latest technological achievements. Products and solutions awarded the MTP Group Gold Medal are also featured.
The event incorporates several programs and competitions. The Hosted Buyers Program and the International Meeting Zone are central to facilitating business contacts for attendees. Competitions held during the fair include the MTP Group Gold Medal Award and the Acanthus Aureus competition. Additionally, Architectural Sketches are presented. The MTP Group Gold Medal Award competition jury awarded a total of 12 Gold Medals at the BUDMA and INTERMASZ 2026 trade fairs, with experts noting the high degree of innovation and exceptional qualities of the products submitted.
For 2026, BUDMA was co-located with INTERMASZ and STONE. The D&A Forum, also known as ARCHI-STRADA, was another associated event for 2026. This forum hosted various speakers, including Justyna Dziedziejko, author of the “Akcja Burza” Park project, and Marta Wierusz, an architect and interior designer who presented on psychology and neuroscience in design. Magdalena Milert, Dr. Maciej Błaszak, and Grzegorz Piątek also spoke at ARCHI-STRADA 2026. Architect and urban planner Maciej Jakub Zawadzki was a special guest. The ARCHI-STRADA space also served as a venue for author meetings organized in cooperation with the Bookarest bookstore. Lectures on the use of stone in architecture were held on the main stage of ARCHI-STRADA during STONE 2026 on February 5. The fair has received patronage from entities such as the President of the City of Poznań and PAIH (Polish Investment and Trade Agency).
