Bendigo Tiny Homes Expo
Bendigo Tiny Homes Expo 2026 is an industry event held from October 30 to November 1, 2026, at Bendigo Showgrounds, Holmes Rd, North Bendigo VIC 3550, Bendigo, Australia. The event is organized by the Australian Tiny House Association and is a regional Victorian edition of a touring series that operates across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia, with plans for expansion into additional states. The series aims to deliver inspiration, innovation, and real-world solutions within the tiny home industry. Adelaide is currently on an occasional schedule, and a Tasmanian event for February 2027 is awaiting venue confirmation.
The expo features a range of exhibitors representing various segments of the tiny home and sustainable living industries. These include businesses that build tiny homes, modulars, container homes, cabins, granny flats, portable homes, AirBNB solutions, and domes. In addition to structures, the event also covers related building products and services, such as solar power, alternative and off-grid solutions, tiny house themed products, workshops, market stalls, and sustainable living ideas. A final list of exhibitors is not available in advance as businesses are still onboarding; however, exhibitor details are published in an event magazine distributed at the gate. Further exhibitor information is announced on the event's Facebook discussion page.
A core component of the Bendigo Tiny Homes Expo 2026 program includes specialist speakers who deliver talks in a dedicated main marquee throughout the event days. The speaker schedule is updated for each expo, with presentations and Q&A sessions designed to address common questions related to tiny homes and alternative living. Topics covered typically include off-grid solutions, regulations, associations, toilets, water, solar energy, and general energy considerations. Q&A panels delve into practical and legal aspects, such as the legality of tiny homes, council permissions, backyard placement regulations, towing rules, weight restrictions, classification as a caravan, and methods for finding land. Attendees can also find helpful stalls positioned around the speaker area. It is noted that the Friday program features fewer speakers compared to the Saturday and Sunday schedules.
Visitors to the expo can expect opportunities to view various tiny houses and acquire information directly from industry professionals. Information regarding event specifics, including pictures, news, announcements, videos, speakers, and exhibitors, is also shared on the event's Facebook timeline for individuals who indicate "Interested" in the event.
